We are likely going to focus on bug fixing and performance in the short
term, but there is a work in progress to the PPC (we just have it on
hold for now).

The new JIT engine should be portable to new platforms by a seasoned
hacker in just a couple of weeks. 

Time to brush up those assembly programming skills ;-)
