[Mono-list] System.NullReferenceException during MCS build

   1.) I downloaded

         http://www.go-mono.com/archive/mono-0.24.tar.gz

       and installed it to

         /usr/local/mono

       and added

         /usr/local/mono/bin

       to $PATH.

   2.) I checked out the current CVS version of mono and installed it to

         /usr/local/mono

   3.) I checked out the current CVS version of mcs and during the build
       I get this:
