the problem is that you have gnome-db package, which is the very old
version of the gnome-db project. This is all now obsolete, so just
remove the old libgda/gnome-db and install libgda/libgnomedb/mergeant
0.10, which is the latest.

the gnome-db version you've got installed is like 2 years old, so I
would be really surprised if that comes with a brand new distribution
with gnome2. Which distro is that?
