[Mono-list] New application released: Indexator.NET 0.1

I have released a little application (called Indexator.NET) which is
able to index directories and store information about the files found in
a MySQL Database associating it with labels (so it can be used as a CD
Catalog).

The information can be consulted in several ways: console client,
graphic client (GTK#), asp.net web, web service or using remoting.

It has two main objective:
       =20
  1) Be used as a CD-ROM cataloguer

  2) Be used as a way to explain the possibilities of Mono (and .NET) in
a course where I will be one of the teachers.

All the interfaces has been translated to English, Spanish and Catalan.

As this application will be used to teach/learn I have tried to touch
different aspects of Mono (.NET): Resources, Serialization, ADO.NET,
GTK#, ASP.NET, Remoting...

One of the things I don't understand is that MySQL access is very slow,
you have to wait a lot of time for a few registers and there is no CPU
or HD use.

The web service is failing also sometimes, I think it is something of
mono (although I'm not 100% sure).

What do you think about it? Suggestions are welcome :-)
