[Mono-list] Executing a shell script from mono (Linux)

Hi all,
	I have been looking into using mono to run a web service that returns 
data from an old Synergy database.  This means that I would need to be 
able to get mono to execute a shell script, is this currently possible? 
  I know you can access the system in .NET, but I'm not sure if has been 
fully implemented in mono yet.
