[Mono-list] Novell and mono project

I'm just hoping that Novell's ownership of Mono doesn't awaken the
dormant patent litigators at Microsoft.

It could be argued that, since Mono is Open Source, it doesn't really
matter who owns it. On the other hand Microsoft has much more to gain
now by suing Novell for patent enfringment than it ever could have had
by suing Ximian.

I wonder what rammifications this has for the future inclusion of Mono
in XD?

Piers.
