Hi,

You might want to take a look at the IK.VM project.

http://weblog.ikvm.net/

While not strictly a Java bytecode to IL project this is rather a =
project to create a Java VM to run on the CLR. It currently runs on both =
the Microsoft CLR and Mono.=20

Cheers

Andrew

Subject: [Mono-list] A Volunteer for the Mono Java Compiler

Hi all,
=A0
I think I got the right list to post this message. I am currently a =
part-time student who is doing a master program in Information =
Technologies at Harvard Extension. As part of my graduation, I am =
required to do a thesis due to be completed by February 2004. To make =
the long story short, I was very enthusiastic and excited when I saw =
that a native Java compiler for .NET is needed for the Mono project. I =
thought I could write my thesis on the java to IL compiler, and =
contribute something back to the open source community as well. Before I =
begin researching into it and proposing the project to my thesis =
advisor, I am wondering if anyone has started working on this project =
yet? Please advise. Let me know. Thanks.
