[Mono-list] go-mono homepage sugestion

Hi,

I know this is somehow trivial and I don't know if I'm the only one
experiencing this slight problem, but it takes ages for me to load the
homepage of the go-mono site. This is mostly because of my slow modem
connection (as most people in europe), and partly because of the huge size
of this page.

I believe the number of  "anouncementes" has grown out of proportion, and
most of the items do not really serve their origianal purpose, which I
believe is to keep us informed of the latest achievements and news. What I
propose is to have a new menu section on the left that could be called
something like "mono timeline" or "mono history" that would contain all of
the announcementes as they currently apper on the main page, and leave on
the main page maybe just the last 10 items or so.
