[Mono-list] autogen.sh error

Hi,

Apologies if this is a dumb question.

I pulled down today's CVS tree of mono, mcs and gtk-sharp
to my Linux/ia32 box.

I went into mono directory and ran autogen.sh and got the
following error:

./configure: line 2490: syntax error near unexpected token `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(BASE_DEPENDENCIES,'
./configure: line 2490: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(BASE_DEPENDENCIES, glib-2.0 >= $GLIB_REQUIRED_VERSION)

Can some one tell me what I am doing wrong?
