MS Office uses VBA as Macro Language. It's the current VB language (e.g.
VB6) that, that can additionally access Office-Commands and only runs in
Office. It's very useful. You can do any action, that you can do by hand,
with VBA. MS will use VB.NET as the next generation Office Makro language in
Office 11.
You'll find a smiliar thing in OpenOffice.org
