[Mono-list] frozen regex support?

hi.

i've been playing with the current state of the RegularExpression
namespace a little, especially the CompileToAssembly() stuff.

in order to run windows binaries, there obviously needs to be
support for the undocumented RegexRunner.

this is not a question concerning how painful it could be. i know.

my question is: is there currently any policy regarding legal
implications of this issue?
i mean: reverse engineering will obviously be based on disassembing at
least the _generated_ dlls.

can we do that from the legal stand point?
