[Mono-list] problem building mono

hi,
i encountered a strange problem while building mono
and the mcs. First i was trying to build using the
snapshots but it was giving problems building the 
System.XMl files.. Then, I shited to the packaged 
version and the MCS did get build but at the end
ended saying 1 error!

The problem came during building mono runtime..
during the configuring part 
./configure --prefix=c:/mono
I got an error, gcc -mno-cywin... C Compliler can't
create executables...

I am using the latest Cygwin download 1.3.12-4
and the gcc version 3.2-1..

I would be obliged if you could reply back
in a couple of days,
