Somewhere I read that the new Pet Store written in .NET was indeed
faster, but it was possible to perform transactions that would actually
leave the database in an inconsistent state.   I do not know where I
read this, but someone was analyzing the code and came up with that. 

Anyways, the subject has been beaten to death on Slashdot lets give this
a rest.
