Hi Mono Folks,

actually I'am programming services for .NET on windows boxes. I have long
experience in writing services for NT/2000/XP. My idea is to programm a linux
daemon in C/C++ to manage all mono services like the MS SCM daemon. Calling
the mono runtime from C/C++ is easy. Writing a small register programm is easy.
( like the net command for windows ). Developing the MMC is a complet other
thing. OK I will start programming on the next weekend, if you like my
proposal.

But I have some open question :

What is the best way to communicate with the upcoming mono SCM ? ( eg.
Corba, pure TCP/IP protocol (Which port ), shared memory )

Should I use fork to allow every mono service can run in his own process??
