[Mono-list] Could not find assembly gnome-sharp

Hello,

I realize this is not exactly a mono only question & I realize it is a
newbie question... but can someone help?

Using mono, I have successfully compiled and installed gtk-sharp into
"/home/parrish/local".  But every time I try to run one of the samples
that seem to have compiled correctly, I keep getting the error message:

** (glade-test.exe:7578): WARNING **: Could not find assembly
gnome-sharp
Can not open image glade-test.exe

How does nono search for assemblies?  Am I just doing something stupid.
 Any help is appreciated... thanks
