| 1. How *are* you developing Mono, with Windows? Linux? Two Computers?
| Cygwin?

I use Win2000 and run Linux in VMWare. That's on one location. At another
I have WinXP on my desktop, and Linux on my Laptop. They are connected via
wireless LAN, and Linux accesses the Windows shares via SMB mounts.

| 3. Dual Booting? Is that worth my time?

It's not worth mine. VMWare makes that a non-issue.

| 5. What is the likelihood I'll *ever* be able to get MS's VS.NET to run
| under Linux? ( as far as I'm aware it is largely native code with a
| dollop of Managed code inside.)

Hmmm. I'm not holding my breath. Much more likely to have an open source
alternative that's as good or better before you'll run VS.NET on Linux.
There are already several good choices.
