hi all,
i am running into errors when running the "./configure" script for the mo=
no runtime on redhat linux 7.2
the errors are listed below.
Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'glib-2.0' found

nsider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your librari=
es are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.
- i am not familiar with unix, so please bear with me if this is due to l=
ack of common knowledge
- i made sure that i installed glib2 and pkg-config =20
>glib2-2.0.0-1
>pkgconfig-0.12.0
- used gnoRPM tool to confirm that i have installed them successfully
- it looks like pkg-config depends on a metadata file with an extension "=
.pc"
- i do not have any of these pkg-config meatadata files on my machine
- is there a way to generate these metadata files or are they standard so=
that i can download them from some place?
- or is there something i am missing here?
thanks in advance
