[Mono-list] Intel and the CLR?

A co-worker of mine sent me this message that was posted on the 
aspngarchitecture@aspfriends.com list.  This may be totally wrong, as I have 
not looked into it deeper.  Has anyone else heard of this?

I heard at VSLive that Intel plans to put the CLR in silicon. I expect
that will have a positive impact on performance for CLR languages such
as Visual Basic .NET and C#.
