Krister,

The bug seems to be fixed now.  There were at least a couple different
things wrong, but ConvertTest runs on mono on Linux now.  Of course
there are errors, but at least now we can fix the class lib.

Thanks for Dietmar for working hard to fix this one before going on
vacation.  And thanks to everyone else to helped put this one to rest.
