Ah, you're right. Running 'mcs' on WinME fails with the message "Could not run the given program. _CorExeMain failed." So I guess that means if I remove the MS .NET runtime, I won't be able to build anymore? I've cc:-ed this to the list in the hope that someone more experienced can explain what the problem is. I'd be happy to (try to) help fix it, though I haven't gotten much past 'hello.cs' yet :p Jason 379
