I found that the www.cygwin.com ssh, cvs, diff and patch tools are the
best for remaining compatible with many of the free software project
repositories. 
If you checkout the sourcecode via "cvs co" then a simple "cvs patch
-p" will give you a set of all the changes made in a form that can be
easily mailed.

I am interested in how you want to handle the meta-data Layer in C++,
calls to reflection and such could be implemented by some LIB that
reads the IL file, or do you want to generate all the meta-data for
static compilation into the resulting executable?
