Do people want to run existing code on the CLR out of the box? I thought
the idea was to write in Perl or Python as a nice alternative to C#. 

FWIW, Perl 6 plans to target Mono once we have the Parrot stuff sorted
out. I need to write a relatively generic front-end compiler which
can spit out Parrot, CIL, or whatever.

As usual, if there's anything the Perl guys can do to help, etc.
