It only works with HTTP/1.1. If you are using a proxy you need to select
"Enable Http 1.1 with Proxy" IE options. That's one of the limitations of
Content-Encoding. It also doesn't always work with all the IE's. I've had
trouble with some 5.0 versions of ie with gzipped javascript files.
When it does work though, it's incredible.

Regrettably, this doesn't seem to work on IE6 under Windows XP, seemingly
because the mime-type isn't recognised.
