I asked about this elsewhere, but got no response ... Is there, or will there be, an implementation of an IL assembler, such as Microsoft's ilasm tool, for Mono on Linux? As I faintly recall, ilasm.exe is not an assembly, it's a Windows C program. Something like this would be very useful, as it serves as the dual to ildasm, giving you round-trip assemble/disassemble.
