[Mono-list] cygwin build error

I tried to build mono 0.8 on Windows 2K using cygwin
(updated today).  I get the following error:

/usr/lib/libcygwin.a(libcmain.o)(.text+0x6a):
undefined reference to `WinMain@16`

This occured after I ran .\configure; then make.

Didn't see it in the FAQ.  Is it a known issue?
