I just read an article in zdnet http://techupdate.zdnet.com/techupdate/stories/main/0,14179,2907356,00.h tml that quotes Miguel as saying "Microsoft patents on technology developed specifically for .Net will be granted royalty-free to those trying to implement the spec." If such a thing happens, it would really be an occasion to celebrate :) --
