Yes, I was trying to find something with that kind of
resolution. These are the numbers he quoted using
gettimeofday and QueryPerformanceCounter:
Linux 2.2.16 0.740 usec
Linux 2.4.2 0.729 usec
SMP 0.806 usec
Windows 2000 1.945 usec
