You should not use glib 1.3, but the latest glib 2.0.x.
It's not your fault, someone should eliminate any reference to glib 1.3
from our web site.
Try with the latest glib 2.0.x (from www.gtk.org): if it still fails to
compile out of the box on OpenBSD file a bug to the glib maintainers
(on bugzilla.gnome.org). If it still fails, I'm sure the ports
collection have already a package for you to use more easily.
