[Mono-list] Enough libs for networking?

I was thinking that I'd test some mono/mcs functionality and write an
ftp client in it.  Does mono's C# implementation have enough and
sufficient libs to support networking?  Sorry if this is in the docs
somewhere, haven't been able to find it.  If you can either answer or
point me to them, I'd really appreciate it:-)
