I have to apologise for mistaking Mono for FreeSoftware, I gave 
www.go-mono.com a re-read and the FAQ explicity says "an open source,
Linux-based version of the Microsoft.NET development platform". So 
I don't think you'd need a Free Software advocacy list -- unless you 
want to start a flame war arena .

Also one of the mails said that "Microsoft's .NET SDK was `free'" for 
that person. In such a crowd , my words are futile. Let me stop with that.
