csc/vbc accepts

vbc *.vb

that compiles every matching file in the directory into the assembly and 
also has a parameter to make it recurse into subdirectories.

Do you think it would be valueable in our driver? Makefiles would be smaller 
but a bit unsafe...

What about response files? Ditto.
