[Mono-list] General introductory docs

Hi,

Sometime ago I started playing with C# and, needless to say, I really
liked the whole concept.

I'd like to help out with mono, I downloaded the snapshots of the
compiler and the runtime, but it would be very nice if there ware at
least some guidelines. Most of the tasks listed in the TODO files all
around the place aren't exactly "introductory" but rather require lots
of research and detailed knowledge of the existing codebase.

Any pointers? Hints?
