[Mono-list] newbie

hi all,
i am new to this mailing list.
I have downloaded the latest version of mon and tried to run diassembler
on a small file(which i got by compiling a small file from MS.net beta
1).

I got the error saying indexing is missing.
The same file i could disassemble using the Microsoft ildasm.

May i know what could have gone wrong.

Also i am interested in the format of the exe file.
I was reading through the documentation submitted to ECMA. It gave what
are the sections etc. but didn't exactly specify the format of metadata
and etc.

May i know any source for knowing that.
