[Mono-list] Porting Windows .Net applications to Linux

Someone already said you can use any .NET language, the catch is if it 
doesnīt need a specific library not found on Mono, and that is currently 
true of VB.NET.

But you can also use any of the Mono Languages, current work is happening to 
bring C#, MonoBASIC (VB.NET compatible superset), and Python.

MonoBASIC will implement a compatible version of the specific library needed 
to run VB.NET applications.

Enterprise Services may be an issue because as it relies on COM+/MTS, 
currently itīs not decided what will we do in Linux.
