Personnaly, I think that the main problem is the huge class libraries, that 
are very different.

Also some things like Delegates and Attributes may be very hard or suffer 
from performance issues in a JVM.

Even on the bytecode front, there are things like boxing/unboxing that may 
prove harder to achieve appropriate performance with Java Bytecodes.
