The 1.3.x series are basically development releases of GTK+ 2.0, if I'm not
mistaken.

Shouldn't we be targeting GTK+ 2.0 from the get-go? What with its new tree 
and list widgets etc., and in any case, by the time Mono is finished, GNOME
2 
should be everywhere.
