I doubt you could. GNOME Basic is a language designed to be 100% 
syntax-compatible with VB, which is .NET compatible. VB.NET is a very 
different language, rewritten from scratch. Similarly I suspect, we would 
have to rewrite a GB.MONO from scratch.
