The Register describes it as "cheeky". I see it a necessary. Monocultures are 
a bad thing in general, and HailStorm is a monoculture in the very worst 
sense. With project Mono, we can ensure there is always an alternative, and 
get a damn fine development platform out of it at the same time.

My guess is, we'll be perfectly happy to cow ork, for as long as microsoft 
plays nice. How long that will be, only time will tell.
