Dear Miguel & Mono team,

I respect the contributions you folks have made to the
open source community. But this mono/C# is very
unsettling and plays right in the hands of MS.

The battle has never been about OS and applications,
it has always been about protocols- word files, API
etc which force people to use MS products. MSFT always
fears commodity protocols and always tries to
contaminate few which exist today. Mono embraces and
extends the proprietary .NET to non windows
environment. Thus giving it a larger distribution base
and extending it's foot print, hence also making it a
more prevalent standard.

I am certain you folks can throw enough XML/HTTP or
java based new protcol together rather than take .NET.

Unless you folks are working with MS the rationale for
helping windows API to becomes Internet API alludes
me.
Next I guess we will have the patented MSFT TCP/IP
stack so MS controls the INET "dial tone".

Sincerely,

Ravi Razdan
