[Mono-list] MonoBASIC considered harmful?

Just thought you might like to know, a Chemistry textbook I've got laying 
around here has this to say about MonoBASIC:

Stability: May react violently with strong bases. Incompatible with 
strong oxidising agents. Protect from moisture.

Toxicology: Dust may cause irritation of eyes, respiratory tract or skin.

Personal protection: Safety glasses.
