[Mono-list] System.Web.Mail implementation?

I've just begun watching the Mono project and i was wondering if Mono will 
also have a System.Web.Mail base class implementation? Although people could 
roll their own implementations using the other classes, I suspect you want 
to make Mono as appealing as possible.

I wrote openSmtp(http://sourceforge.net/projects/opensmtp-net/) specifically 
because the the MS BCL implementation did not
support servers outside of IIS SMTP, which can be convenient, but
nevertheless unrealistic if the need to send messages arises.
I'm not really sure how this would be accomplished on a Linux system,
but feel free to devore my implementation if it helps.


By the way - I came from a MS/Java world and you even got my attention.
I would love to see this project come to maturity.
