Just tried to grab the latest monodoc from cvs, and I think I'm a bit
out of date with everything - I'm still using redhat 8. Any chance of
someone with a working build environment adding the latest dependency
requirements to the README? I'm assuming it's probably Gtk# 0.11 and
gtkhtml 3.something?

Which I think probably means I need to upgrade to RH9 before I try and
start hacking... 

Anyone have any idea what an "optimum environment" is? I could feasibly
upgrade to the latest Redhat betas, assuming evolution & galeon/epiphany
work properly, but that might be more hassle than it's worth.
