Prior to Mono 5 we had branch names like mono-4.8.0-branch. However, there are no Mono 5 branches it seems. Now we just seem to have tags on working branches. Is the idea here to try and stop branches proliferating? The old branch naming system made it very easy to follow the development of a particular release. Jonathan
