That's not required if you build Mono 5.0+, dynamic BTLS is the only option.

Just be sure to pass --enable-dynamic-btls

Check the summary at the end of ./configure, it'll report whether BTLS is really enabled or not.

Thank you so much for the answer!

If I install a compiler capable of compiling BTLS (gcc 4.8+ or clang 3.3+ or
CMake 2.8.10+), can I even download the Mono from the source
(https://download.mono-project.com/sources/mono<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdownload.mono-project.com%2Fsources%2Fmono&data=02%7C01%7Calkpli%40microsoft.com%7Cadfc53b465bb4f3982e308d4b3271091%7C72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7C1%7C0%7C636330427752705244&sdata=7zyWLQRjU%2BCMhsmSC%2BVUdWtzWawau8s6Mf62gAdDZl4%3D&reserved=0> /) And compile it? Or do I
still need some specific procedure for btls?
