[Mono-dev] Cross-compile Mono

Hi,

what is currently the recommended way to cross-compile Mono for ARM? From 
docs(http://www.mono-project.com/docs/about-mono/supported-platforms/arm/) 
it seems that we should use Scratchbox, but Scratchbox is apparently a dead 
project. I was unable to install it on my Ubuntu 16.04, because its debian 
repository no longer works. Its documentation is full of broken links and 
was last changed in 2005.
So is there any other way?
