[Mono-dev] InvalidProgramException running .NET 4.0 app

Hi everyone. 

First of all: for what concerns MONO I'm a newbie, so please forgive me if
I'masking obvious questions... 

I'm writing a simple console application based on some libraries (which code
I imported inside the solution - by the way: I'm using monodevelop 4.0.12).

One of the libraries uses System.Xml namespace from mono 4.0.0.0,  I can
compile, but at runtime I get this system:InvalidProgramException: Invalid
IL code in System.Uri:op_Equality(System.Uri,System.Uri): method body is
empty [...]

the exception is thrown calling XmlReader.Create, using both relative and
absolute path in unix format. 

any help ?
