[Mono-dev] Mono / Xamarin / .Net Core chat, forums, etc

So, where do you hang out to talk about Mono, Xamarin, and .Net Core? 

 I mention these 3 things because they are all cross-platform .net implementations and this is where i like to read what others are doing and for me to discuss ideas i have,  does not have to be an employee of Microsoft/Xsmarin.  Just others to bounce ideas off.

The #mono channel on GimpNet IRC used to be busy.   I only had on person directx talk to me.  I like how you can create other channels on the fly or have private chats.

I heard gitter.im but even that is not that busy.  Can you create rooms on the fly there or have private chats?

I think Xamarin uses Slack but i think it is private to Xamarin employees.

I use Slack at work and i like it.

I even send/read emails on this mono mailing list.

I see some forums on .net foundation and at msdn.  

So, where do you hang out?
