[Mono-dev] [GSoC-2014] Optimizing Switch statements

Hello,

I am interested in doing the "C# Compiler switch statement enhancements"
for this years Google Summer of code.

The last couple of days I have been going through the sourcecode for the C#
compiler and the JIT compiler. The main question I have is where the focus
of this project should be. Is it in the source -> IL translation or in the
IL -> machinecode translation?
