Hi Marek,
Thanks. The question actually relates to mcs internals because we're using
it as a frontend when extracting information from the source code. Our usual
approach is to be as faithful to the representation used by the compiler as
possible, but in this case it's complicating the queries, so I was
interested to see whether something could be done about it.
To be honest, it sounds like the answer may be no, in the sense that we're
trying to comprehensively handle all valid C# expressions; thanks for the
pointer!
On a separate note, is this actually the right place to ask questions about
mcs internals? If not, please could you direct me to somewhere more
appropriate?
