[Mono-dev] ORA-01406: fetched column value was truncated

Hi,

reading BLOB data from an Oracle DB I obtain the following error:

ORA-01406: fetched column value was truncated at 
System.Data.OracleClient.Oci.OciStatementHandle.Fetch () [0x00000]
at System.Data.OracleClient.OracleDataReader.Read ()

I searched and I found this bugreport 
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=556531 but I can't 
understand if it's solved or not. I tried replacing the 
System.Data.OracleClient.dll into the gac with the 2.10.2 version but 
I obtain the same error. I can't found any other free connector 
Mono-compatible, what I can do?
